Employee Spotlight: Sara Kim, Director of Client Services
At R3, our people are the heartbeat of everything we do, and we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Sara Kim, our incredible Director of Client Services!
Sara has been a key part of the DR3AMTEAM for almost three years, and her passion for her work, her team, and her family is nothing short of inspiring. Whether she’s guiding clients, supporting her colleagues, or leading wellness efforts across the company, Sara shows up every day with energy, empathy, and intention.
A Passion for People and Growth
Sara’s role is all about relationships—and it shows. When asked what she loves most about her job, her answer was simple yet powerful:
“The people I work with.”
Her dedication to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for others is something she’s genuinely proud of.
“I’ve watched so many people grow and change in their roles,” she shares. “That gives me more fulfillment than anything else.”
Her people-first philosophy is also reflected in the way she sets goals. Rather than focusing solely on personal accolades, Sara is laser-focused on lifting others:
“I tend to focus more on the goals I have for my team than the ones I have for myself. If they grow, I grow.”
That’s the kind of leader we all aspire to have in our corner.
Owning Her Space in Tech
Sara stands out in an industry where women—especially in leadership—are still underrepresented.
“I’m a woman in tech, which is rare in itself,” she says. “It’s even more rare to have women in leadership positions within IT. I’m lucky to work for a company that has so many!” Her perspective, persistence, and presence make her a trailblazer, and a role model for others striving to break barriers.
Her journey into the world of technology began in her early 20s, almost by accident.
“I interviewed at an IT company and fell in love with the fast-paced environment and ever-changing industry!” she explains. “IT is a lot of things, but it’s never boring for me.”
That passion has carried her through every challenge and opportunity the field has presented—and she’s still just getting started.
Lessons Learned and Shared
Sara brings a calm, grounded mindset to everything she does. One of the biggest lessons she’s learned during her time at R3?
“Failure is a part of growing.”
It’s a philosophy that has helped her and her team persevere through setbacks, stay adaptable, and continue striving for more.
When the going gets tough, Sara keeps her perspective.
“One step in front of the other. Rome wasn’t built in a day—and neither was R3 😊.”
She’s also quick to credit the company’s culture for her continued motivation and success.
“The employee-first mentality is what drew me in the most,” she says. “R3 continues to put employees first even as we continue to grow.”
It’s a value she lives by—and one she actively champions through both her leadership and her wellness advocacy.
R3’s Resident Wellness Champion
Beyond her role as Director of Client Services, Sara also leads our wellness culture as R3’s Wellness Champion. Her passion for well-being is contagious—she not only promotes healthy work-life balance but also creates space for mindfulness and movement within our company culture.
In addition to being a part-time Pure Barre instructor, which she calls “SO rewarding,” Sara also hosts Monday Meditations via Teams—a virtual grounding practice that helps us all begin the week with calm and clarity.
Her leadership in this space is a big part of what makes R3 feel like more than just a workplace—it’s a community.
Life Outside the Office
When she’s not guiding clients, supporting her team, or leading wellness sessions, Sara stays deeply rooted in what matters most to her: family. She’s a devoted mom and wife who finds creative joy in the kitchen.
“I LOVE to cook,” she says. “Lately I’ve been trying out new recipes for Sunday dinners to test my skills and patience—haha.” Sunday meals are her time to unwind, reflect, and reconnect.
She also has a few surprises up her sleeve—like her love for public speaking, a rare skill she genuinely enjoys!
And when she’s ready to get pumped up? Her go-to song is “Pretty Girls Walk.” You’ll know it’s game time when that beat drops.

Sara’s favorite piece of advice sums up her approach to leadership and life:
“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t CHANGE you.”
